100 Best Movies you have to see at least Once in Your Life!

I declare myself a big “amateur” of good and very good movies, but above all I consider myself (along with Mihaela) an expert in the

• Star Trek series (The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine),
• BatleStar Galactica (2004–2009)
• and Stargate Atlantis.

We have already begun to know the action of any Star Trek episode only by name and in many cases even many reference lines in psychology, sociology, humanity, civic education, common sense, ethics and morality … that is true the essence present in each episode! But I will come back to these series in the future with dedicated articles, because each of them is unique and deserves all the attention!

For us, good films have a more subjective classification and are often not interested in the “general” opinion, probably because they are “analyzed” from too many points of view:

• screenplay,
• philosophy,
• fluency,
• unique story,
• technique / science,
• vision on the subject,
• fiction,
• creativity,
• intelligent and memorable lines,
• performance of actors,
• film length,
• first impression (first 5-10 minutes),
• music,
• special effects,
• ethics and morals,
• final conclusions,

I know that apparently there are many “unknowns” in the equation through which we analyze movies, but after seeing hundreds and hundreds of movies, these aspects become an automatism, you know very well at all times what stage of the ranking and what level the film is. If I were to classify them from 1 to 10, I would briefly note them as follows:

• 10 – the exceptional ones
• 9 – very good
• 8 – good
• 7 – acceptable

What is below 7, I would say that it is not worth the time already because the scale of the classification is in fact a logarithmic one, meaning a film of grade 10 is 10 times better than one of grade 9. And not to waste time with stories about bad movies or good movies, I will leave below a fairly consistent list of the best movies that I recommend everyone to see at least once, maybe even have them in a collection!
