Free DNS (Domain Name System) resolution service – Public DNS

Public DNS is a free DNS (global Domain Name System) resolution service, that you can use as an alternative to your current DNS provider.
To try it out:

Configure your network settings to use the IP addresses , first IP for Primary DNS Server and 2nd as your IP for Secondary DNS servers

If you decide to try Free Public DNS:

  • Your client programs will perform faster DNS lookups using Public DNS, but you should choose a DNS that responds the fastest depending on the geographic region in which you live.
  • Speed up your browsing experience.
  • Improve your security.
  • Get the results you expect with absolutely no redirection.

P.S. Everyone says they respect privacy, but no one knows for sure if it is so … from experience, everything that is free has a hidden cost 🙂
