Public DNS is a free DNS (global Domain Name System) resolution service, that you can use as an alternative to your current DNS provider.
To try it out:
Configure your network settings to use the IP addresses , first IP for Primary DNS Server and 2nd as your IP for Secondary DNS servers
Google Public DNS
Primary: 8.8.8.8
Secondary: 8.8.4.4
Cloudflare Public DNS
Primary: 1.1.1.1
Secondary: 1.0.0.1
Verisign Public DNS
Primary: 64.6.64.6
Secondary: 64.6.65.6
OpenDNS Public DNS
Primary: 208.67.222.222
Secondary: 208.67.220.220
Quad9 Public DNS
Primary: 9.9.9.9
Secondary: 149.112.112.112
If you decide to try Free Public DNS:
- Your client programs will perform faster DNS lookups using Public DNS, but you should choose a DNS that responds the fastest depending on the geographic region in which you live.
- Speed up your browsing experience.
- Improve your security.
- Get the results you expect with absolutely no redirection.
